EMS at OI-2026

We are thrilled to announce that EMS SLU will be exhibiting at Oceanology International 2026, taking place at ExCeL London from 10–12 March 2026 — and we will be arriving with some very exciting news.

Oceanology International (OI London) is the world's leading forum for ocean science and technology — bringing together over 8,000 professionals, researchers, engineers, and industry leaders from more than 100 countries. For EMS SLU, participating in this global event represents a milestone moment and a proud reflection of our growing presence in the international oceanographic community.

Visit Us at Our Stand

This year, EMS SLU will have a dedicated exhibition stand where our team will be on hand to showcase our latest work in ocean monitoring, underwater engineering, and scientific research. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet us in person, see our technology up close, and discuss how we can support your next marine project.

We will be presenting our oceanographic buoy systems — including our ICATMAR coastal monitoring buoy and our Toroidal offshore observation platform — as well as sharing highlights from recent expeditions and deployments across the Atlantic and Mediterranean.

Whether you are a research institution, a government agency, an energy company, or a conservation organisation, we look forward to connecting with you.

What to Expect at Our Stand

At the EMS SLU stand you can expect to see our monitoring buoy systems and instrumentation, learn about our deep-water survey and engineering capabilities, speak directly with our scientists and engineers, and explore potential collaboration and partnership opportunities. We will also be sharing updates on our most recent projects and what is coming next for EMS SLU in 2026 and beyond.

A Major Announcement — New Partnership with Biospherical Instruments

OI London 2026 will also mark the official announcement of an exciting new partnership between EMS SLU and Biospherical Instruments Inc. — a world-renowned US-based manufacturer of precision optical and radiometric instrumentation for oceanographic and atmospheric research.

This collaboration brings together EMS SLU's expertise in ocean monitoring, buoy systems, and field deployments with Biospherical Instruments' industry-leading sensors and measurement technology. Together, we will be able to offer our clients enhanced data quality, expanded measurement capabilities, and access to some of the most advanced optical instrumentation available in marine science today.

We believe this partnership represents a significant step forward — not just for EMS SLU, but for the broader oceanographic community in Spain and across Europe. More details about the scope of the collaboration and the joint solutions we will be bringing to market will be shared at the stand and in the weeks following the event.

Why OI London Matters to Us

OI London is where the ocean science and technology community comes together to exchange knowledge, push boundaries, and address the most pressing challenges facing our seas. Being part of that conversation — as exhibitors — reflects our commitment to advancing the field and positioning Spanish marine science on the world stage.

For EMS SLU, this is more than an exhibition. It is a statement of intent.
